Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on addressing the media on Thursday announced about the most commendable scheme/plan in the modern times of India.
FM Nirmala Sitharaman made official announcment about the ‘One Nation-One Ration’ plan, which will benefit each and every ration card holder in the nation irrespective of their place of living and native they belong to. This will definitely benefit the migrant workers of the Nation the most, who were affected the most during this Corona pandemic by losing jobs and walking back to natives due to poverty.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also indicated that, Not only migrant workers but 100% of ration cardholders will be covered in ‘One Nation One Ration Card’ scheme by March 2021 and about 67% of the ration cardholders will be covered by August 2020.

Ration cards which are official document issued by the respective state governments to households,family members count and depending on the financial status of the applicant. Ration card holders are eligible get essential food grains at designated ration shops, also called fair price run by the State government.
Now, the ‘One Nation, One Ration’ scheme will make the possibility to buy food grains at the State run ration shops by the ration card holders without changing the address to the particular state they live at present.
