Neeraj Chopra lives golden dreams of India

India has produced some of the best sportspersons in the world but somehow they have only been stuck with something that can be categorized as fluke in the international sporting sphere.

The amount of talent that the player exhibited has been neglected or covered by a declaration of ‘sheer luck’.

But all of it changed when Neeraj Chopra came into the picture as he not only got gold for the country in the August concluded Tokyo Olympics 2020 but also proved that what he had was way more than just fluke or luck.

Having scored in athletics is a big deal for India and especially when it happens in a tournament like the Olympics, it becomes extremely special. The kind of talent and hard work that shines of Chopra can never be underestimated especially the age group he fits in.

The 24-year-old has the determination to hit Olympic ground with the spirit to win and with the first throw itself, it became obvious that he is not going home without a podium finish but he managed to better the expectations and get a gold medal for India in Javelin throw.

Aman Shah is someone who has been closely working with Chopra for four years and he has seen his growth like no one else. “On airplanes, they used to announce ‘we are thrilled to have the Olympic gold medallist on board,” Sha described. He describes his nature saying that he has been so down to earth through this process of fame that even when fans became a little invasive towards him, he never once misbehaved or got irritated with them.
