National threat lead to ban of these applications on you device, Garena ban shock fans

The Indian government banned 54 applications which have a Chinese background for users on their electronic devices. One of the most talked about games to be part of this list is Garena Free Fire.

The gaming application has a huge fandom and as soon as the announcement was made about certain applications being banned and in the list, Garena was also a part, it shocked many fans. Due to the now applicable ban, gamers will not be able to download the game on their phones be it Android or iOS.

However, one relaxation for those who have been playin the game for a long time is that they can continue to play the game on their devices. This banning is only restricting you from downloading but not playing so many others who have this application on their phones can continue to enjoy it.

Another choice for the users is to go for Garena Free Fire Max on their devices but the only catch is that this is limited to Android phones. For the App store, this version of the games has been discontinued.

The ban is not new, especially when we talk about Chinese applications. Previously too, India had announced a ban on Chinese applications, an announcement that came only briefly after Covid-19 pandemic was announced by the World Health Organisation and Wuhan was found to be the region of outbreak.

Most applications have alternatives but for gamers, these games are the one perfect go to entertainment option they have. Many gamers have also taken up gaming professionally and the games have become a means to make a living. Just like Garena, there was another game which was shockingly banned in India.

The popular game known as PUBG was banned two years ago leaving its fans all around the country craving for the thrill and suspense that the game offered. There was a huge number of people who played the game and it went to an extent that many organizers started with mega events where the best Indian players were against each other in the competitive game.
