Mumbai Cricket Association Created Guiness World Record – Know Why!

With an impressive 14,505 red and white cricket balls the MCA (Mumbai Cricket Association) has made the largest cricket ball sentence at the Wankhede Stadium. On commemorating the 50th anniversary of the most prestigious and celebrated cricket stadiums of India, the Wankhede Stadium which has encountered copious records created by the players and the stadium itself.
One of the iconic moments in the history of Indian Cricket is the 2011 ODI World Cup crowned by the Indian team through their masterclass performances.
“We are thrilled to announce that the Mumbai Cricket Association has achieved a Guinness World Record for the largest cricket ball sentence at Wankhede Stadium , using 14,505 red & White Cricket balls. The incredible feat, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the first Test match at Wankhede, is dedicated to the memory of Late Shri Eknath Solkar and other former Mumbai players who have served Mumbai Cricket and are no longer with us” said the President of MCA, Ajinkya Naik.
“MCA will give the balls, which were used to achieve this record, to the aspiring cricketers of schools, clubs and NGOs in the city, encouraging hem to take inspiration from this record and achieve greater milestones in their careers” he added.
