Trailer & Plot of Mukhbir – The Story Of A Spy
In the first scene of the film, which occurs on the India-Pakistan border in they year 1965, months before the war begins, Adil Hussain, who plays real-life IPS officer Ramkishore Negi, informs Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri that Pakistan’s acquisition of Patton Tanks is dreadful news for India.
The Indian operatives in Pakistan are not available to spy about and learn what the intelligence officials have to say about it, the Prime Minister is informed.
When intelligence officer Bhagat (Prakash Raj) reveals his “asset,” the country stands to gain.
A small-time burglar and spy named Kamran Baksh (Zain) is tasked with traveling covertly to Pakistan as India’s mukhbir (spy) in the proxy war.
Kamran combines espionage and a little bit of romance while in Pakistan, but work quickly takes precedence.
Kamran needs to know what Pakistan’s plans are in order for India to be able to stop them. The true challenge is preventing yourself from getting sucked into the action.
