MotoGP 2025: Ducati’s Marc Marquez clinches top position in stunning triumph

The 2025 MotoGP Austrian Grand Prix turned into an incredible story last night. The entire race represented a textbook masterclass from Marc Marquez on a Ducati bike. He clinched the top position in his first-time triumph at the Red Bull Ring.
Marquez took control of the race in the latter part, performing better than Fermin Aldeguer and Marco Bezzecchi. At the beginning of the competition, though, Bezzecchi started incredibly strong and controlled the race on his bike for many laps.
The Italian became a strong contender and could have crossed the finish line first. Rookie rider Aldeguer also impressed on his Gresini Ducati. But Marquez started taking control of the race as it entered its final stages.
The triumph on Sunday at the 2025 MotoGP Austrian Grand Prix helped Marc Marquez stretch his championship lead to 142 points in comparison to his brother Alex Marquez. There are just nine races left to go. The next round is this month at the Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary.
