The former Indian women’s cricket team captain Mithali Raj follows a different way to live her life. She says that sports teaches you to move on!
The Indian female Cricketer Mithali Raj, did not have an easy childhood. She claimed that the people who committed their time to make her a cricketer had many difficulties and made many sacrifices.
She claimed that in order to secure sponsorship arrangements, her father had to visit banks.
She often remarked that she needed to look no further than such persons for inspiration or motivation because they stood by her even when it would have been easier to abandon her.
According to Mithali Raj, sports teaches us to move on. As each day can’t be the same day, everyday is different! She said,
“Today even if I score a 100, tomorrow is going to be a new day. I have to start all over again.
I don’t plan anything. I accept what life throws at me and try to do as best as I can. If it works out, I become happy, if it does not, I move on.”
She stated that although there are many coaches and other specialists available to young professionals, it is crucial to help them learn how to concentrate in the modern world.
