There is great news for gaming fans that the Xbox app will soon be available as Microsoft is currently working on making it with global TV manufacturers. The gaming giant is planning to bring its Xbox Game Pass service as well to TVs through its xCloud streaming technology.

The Xbox app will open up access for customers that are interested in gaming on their TV screens and won’t have to spend a high amount from their pocket for the Xbox devices.

Liz Hamren, head of gaming experiences and platforms at Microsoft says, “We’re working with TV manufacturers to embed the Game Pass experience straight into internet TVs so all you’ll require to play is a controller.”

Xbox head Phil Spencer, indicated last year that Microsoft’s own Xbox streaming stick and Xbox application will be launched soon. The software giant has not made any official announcement about the date when the Xbox application will be active on TVs, nor which makers will package it on their devices. There isn’t much information on details on the release date or pricing for the Xbox streaming devices as well.

Microsoft has also announced Xbox Game Pass for which customers will need to purchase it as a separate subscription. The gaming lovers are excited as it will provide to have access to hundreds of Xbox games for a monthly fee.

Xbox Game Pass will reinforce the Xbox Series X library impressively. It’s not just great news for the individuals who are looking forward to new Xbox games, however, it makes Xbox Game Pass a significantly enticing proposition for all during covid 19 lockdowns.

In case if customers don’t have a smart TV that supports Xbox Game Pass, or don’t wish to upgrade their TV, then they can buy a streaming stick accessory that can plug into the TV via HDMI port and that will help in easily downloading the Game Pass app.
