Microsoft To Release Super App To Compete With Google & Apple

Microsoft is building an Super App (all-in-one app) to disrupt the market of mobile dominance. The app will combine web search, news, shopping, messaging, and other services at one platform.

According to reports, IT giant Microsoft will create an all-encompassing “super app” to challenge Apple and Google’s mobile hegemony. According to AppleInsider, the app may merge shopping, texting, web search, news, and other services in one location.

Microsoft executives are confident that the programme will expand both their advertising business and Bing search.

The tech behemoth seeks to imitate businesses like Tencent, which offers integrated programmes like WeChat.

It is still unknown when the corporation will introduce such a programme. In the meantime, the tech giant had last month announced “polls” that allow users to instantly generate polls with the Microsoft Forms app, boosting meetings in Teams more interesting.

Go to the channel or chat you wish to put a poll in, then click Forms at the bottom of your Teams window, then add your question-and-answer options. This will post the poll in the Teams channel or give you rapid feedback in the chat pane.

Due to currency swings, Microsoft also disclosed a significant price increase for its software and services in India of up to 11%.

According to the business, starting on February 1, 2023, rates for business on-premises software and internet services will be standardized between India and even the Asian area using the Indian rupee.

According to a statement released by Microsoft, “Starting February 1, 2023, Indian rupee prices for commercial on-premises software will increase by 4.5 percent, online services will increase by 9 percent, and Windows GGWA will increase by 11% to realign close to current USD pricing levels in the Asian region.

Beginning on February 1, 2023, Microsoft’s official website will offer services like Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 for direct sale to consumers in India at updated Indian rupee prices.

According to the corporation, these modifications won’t have an impact on current orders placed by commercial clients for products covered by price protection under license agreements.
