Maharashtra State Public Holidays – 2025
The public and state-specific holidays are followed throughout India to honour the culture, history and the significant heritage of each state. Maharashtra secures the first place in India as the richest state and also they contribute the highest national GDP in India. As per the data released by India today during the fiscal year 2022-2023 was Rs.2.89 lakh crore and in the Forbes India the projected GSDP for the year 2024-2025 is reported as 42.67%. The success behind the strong economy of Maharashtra is due to the well-built industrial base, skilled workforce and the environment which is highly favourable to the business.
Maharashtra is also known for its vibrant and deeply rooted rich cultural heritage. Ganesh Chaturthi, Gudi Padwa, Makar Sankranti are some of the unique and sprightly festivals followed by the people of this state. Along with national and state-specific celebrations the public holidays notification has been released by the state government. The notification ensures that a total of twenty five public holidays will be followed next year 2025.

In the lists of public holidays January, June, July, September, November and December are the months with only one public holiday respectively. Whereas, October is the only month with five public holidays.
