Luv Films announces that it will be producing Sourav Ganguly’s biopic

Fans have been eagerly anticipating the release of Sourav Ganguly’s biopic and earlier reports had already claimed that Ganguly has given his nod to the project and now there are reports that Luv Films will be producing the upcoming movie.

There are a lot of legendary moments in the life of the legendary cricketer but not everything and every moment is known to the public from his perspective. With the biopic, the makers are focusing on bringing his perspective to the game and letting his fans know the inside stories of the actual moments that they saw on television.

Sourav Ganguly has also shown his enthusiasm for the project as he said that cricket has been his everything and in the coming days, people will be able to watch his journey on the big screen.

He tweeted about the confirmation of the Luv Films producing his biopic after the production house officially announced it on Twitter. “We are thrilled to announce that Luv Films will produce Dada Sourav Ganguly’s biopic. We are honoured to be entrusted with this responsibility and look forward to a great innings,” said the twitter handle of Luv FIlms.

There are many reports claiming biopics in the making of many cricketers, including the confirmed ones  such as Tapsee Pannu starrer biopic on cricketing legend and highest run scorer Mithali Raj. There is another biopic in making on Jhulan Goswami which reportedly sras Anushka Sharma in the title role. Till now, lives of a lot of cricketers have been made into big screen including former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and master blaster Sachin Tendulkar
