Kejriwal launches new initiative ‘Ek Mauka AAP Ko’ ahead of assembly polls

On Monday, the chief minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal announced a new initiative ahead of assembly polls in the states of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Goa.

This initiative is called ‘Ek Mauka AAP Ko’ which essentially is an attempt to urge people to give this political party a chance and let them take the test. In a press conference, Kejriwal asked residents in Delhi NCR to make videos, take pictures that show the development done by the AAP government.

He said, “In the last 7 years, the AAP government in Delhi has done remarkable work and this work is discussed all across the globe. Officials from the United Nations visited our Mohalla clinics.”

The chief minister also highlighted how the former first lady visited the schools that have been functioning under the AAP government.

Emphasizing on other efforts, he said that Delhi is also getting  24X7 electricity and it has only been possible because of the opportunity that people gave to the AAP government.

“Please shoot a video and let us know what development works of the AAP you liked,” further adding to the initiative and promotion of the AAP developmental projects.

He was determined to take the public vote on what and which work was the one to benefit them and whether the government schools actually improved or not. In the states that are going for elections, AAP will be contesting in every state except for Menopur. AAP’s confidence was lifted after a decent show at the Punjab elections in 2017 where it fielded Bhagwant Mann as its chief ministerial candidate from Dhuri constituency.
