Kangana Ranaut takes a dig at Javed Akhtar after he files a defamation case

Indian actor Kangana Ranaut was heavily involved in the Shushant Singh Rajput’s murder case and in the process to ‘unveil the truth’ she has taken a lot of big names and drageed them in the matter. 

Lyricist and Author Javed Akhtar was the recent addition in the matter. Ranaut has attacked a 75-year-old lyricist saying that he was part of a ‘suicide gang’ and called him a ‘vulture’. This week on Tuesday, Akhtar had filed criminal defamation against the Queen actress just a few hours after her derogatory comments on him while talking on a news channel Republic news. 

While talking to the news channel, she said that Akhtar and his family was a part of this suicide gang and he can get away with pretty much anything in Mumbai. This led Akhtar to take the matters to the magistrate. 

As soon as the news broke out and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut shared it on his Twitter handle, Kangana hit back at the defamation case and said through her handle, “In translation: Once, there was a lioness… and another a pack of wolves.”

The complaint by Javed Akhtar said that claims of the actor such as him threatening her not to speak about her relationship with bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, which garnered a lot of views on the internet and tarnished his reputation, and false accusations were completely baseless. 

“Each and every allegation and imputation made in the said interview against the complainant is false, defamatory, malicious, and has been made with reckless disregard to the truth. This was part of a premeditated, willful, and insidious campaign motivated by her commercial and personal motives of gaining publicity,” Akhtar submitted.

Kangana Ranaut has been making headlines from the time she has been trying to bring out her version of the truth to the public and has taken names of big Bollywood actors and directors. 

Things further escalated when she involved Shiv Sena in the process and accused the political party of creating a hostile environment in Mumbai and also compared the atmosphere in Mumbai to that of Pakistan occupied Kashmir after her office was broken down by BMC. She has also been openly criticizing how Mumbai Police handled the murder case of the late actor.
