In Tamil Nadu’s Chinna Salem, adjacent to Kallakurichi, there is a girl in Class 12 named R Srimathi who studies at a private higher secondary school.
According to the authorities, she committed suicide on Tuesday night and left a note in which she accused two instructors of treating her unfairly.

Despite the teachers’ denials, the parents and relatives of the student, R Srimathi, jammed the Kallakurichi-Salem highway on Wednesday while hurling obscenities at the school administration.
The tragic event took place close to Kaniyamoor. The watchman of the dormitory building allegedly found the girl’s body on the ground on Wednesday morning and alerted school administrators.
The young student was taken to a nearby hospital where, after being informed of the local police, she was later declared dead.
R Srimathi’s Suicide Note
The girl allegedly referenced two teachers in a note and stated that they forced her and a select group of classmates to study continually, abusing her and several of her classmates.
The two teachers were brought to the police station for an investigation, according to Kallakurichi SP S Selvakumar.
They just casually asked her to concentrate more and work harder because she was quite fun-loving.
Justice For Srimathi: The Consequences
The girl’s parents arrived at the Kallakurichi Government Hospital with their relatives when the school administration alerted them, according to the police.
Nearly 50 family members held a “road roko” on the Kallakurichi-Salem highway to demand justice for her passing and accuse the school administration of pressuring her to take the drastic measure, according to the police.
The police arrived at the scene and dispersed the demonstrators after the throng had stormed the school and prevented teachers from entering the building.
A case was filed in accordance with CrPC Section 174 (unnatural death).
