Jogi Trailer: Diljit Dosanjh Starrer Film Presents 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots

The trailer of Diljit Dosanjh starrer film ‘Jogi’ has been released. The film is about the aftermath of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots and how Sikhs got tortured.
The first trailer for the movie Jogi, which takes place during the 1984 Delhi riots and features Diljit Dosanjh in the title role, was released by Netflix on Tuesday. Three turbulent days of violence are depicted in the movie as three friends struggle to survive.
Jogi is seen eating breakfast with his family at the beginning of the video, which suggests that this is the quiet before the storm.

But the protagonist tries to evacuate the town with his family and move to Punjab, which is the safest area they can be in, as gunshots echo across their neighborhood, which is quickly overrun by violent mobs.
Pictures of riot-torn streets and the massive departure of Sikhs seeking shelter are shown. According to the trailer, the exodus was “the largest human heist” ever seen. Additionally, Jogi is portrayed in the trailer as a type of savior.
The attack of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards prompted the anti-Sikh riots of 1984, which led to the deaths of hundreds of Sikhs nationwide but mostly in the nation’s capital.

The riots were previously shown on screen in the 2014 movies 31st October, starring Vir Das, and Punjab 1984, which also starred Diljit.
Kumud Mishra, Hiten Tejwani, Amyra Dastur, and Paresh Pahuja are also featured in the movie. On September 16, Netflix will release Jogi. The last time we saw Diljit was in the comedy film Honsla Rakh in Punjabi.
