The BWF World Championship 2022 is going to be held in Tokyo from 22nd August onwards. The Indian Shuttler participants are also ready to give their excellent performance.

The Indian shuttlers will aim to do well at the 2022 BWF World Championship, which will start on August 22 in Tokyo.

Due to a knee injury she suffered at the Commonwealth Games, PV Sindhu has been disqualified from the competition, dealing a severe blow to the Indian team. At this important competition, a total of 26 Indian shuttlers will compete.

Kidambi Srikanth, the reigning silver medalist from the World Championship last year, is competing in the men’s singles division.

Tomorrow’s opening match will feature N Nguyen of Ireland versus Srikanth. Sai Praneeth will encounter a difficult obstacle when he runs against Chou Tien Chen of Chinese Taipei.

As he takes on H K Vittinghus of Denmark, Lakshya Sen will try to maintain his outstanding form. Tomorrow’s opening round will feature L Wreber of Austria versus HS Prannoy.

Saina Nehwal and Malvika Bansod are the two players competing in the women’s singles division. Saina Nehwal will compete against NY Cheung of Hong Kong and hopes to win the opening match of the competition.

The Danish player Christophen will be the first opponent for the left-handed Bansod in tomorrow’s first round.

In the men’s doubles competition, Kedren and S Jomokh of Thailand will be up against Dhruv Kapila and MR Arjun, while CWG 2022 gold medalists Chirag and Satwiksairaj RankiReddy will take on the winner of Jonathan Curtin and Dylan Soedajsa or Solis Jonathan and Anibal Marruqin. Chirag and Satwik received byes in the first round.

In the opening round, Hiroki Okamura & Onodera of Japan will compete against Manu Attri & Sumeeth Reddy. Fabien Delrue and William Verger, who had a bye in the first round, would be the opponents for Krishna Prasad Garga and Vishnuvardhan.

Three pairs—Pooja Dandu & Sanjana Santosh, Ashwini Ponnappa & Sikki Reddy, and Tressa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand—make up the women’s doubles division.

Ines Lucia and Paula La Torre will be challenged by Pooja Dandu and Sanjana. As they would be up against Aminath and Fahimath Abdul Razzaq, Ponnappa and Sikki Reddy will have an easy task.

Gayatri Gopichand and Low Yeen Yuan will oppose Tressa Jolly and Siow. The pressure is on Lakshya Sen, Prannoy, and Srikanth to win a medal in Sindhu’s absence, thus the competition promises to be thrilling.

Venkat Gaurav Prasad & Juhi Dewangan compete in the mixed doubles division against George Mairs & Jenny Moore. Tanisha Crasto and Ishaan Bhatnagar will attempt to defeat Patrick Schiel & Volkmann to open their competition.

We are hoping to witness outstanding performances by the Indian shuttlers and guarantee that they secure additional medals in the renowned competition.
