The Railways have become a popular location for the shooting for film and TV producers due to their unique look and feel. The Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway mentioned that many stations have served as primary locations for popular movies like –

- Airlift, and
- Sher Shah
- Chennai Express
during the past few years.
Besides, numerous online series like –
- X-Ray,
- Abhay 2,
- Breathe into the Darkness, and
- Dongri to Dubai
were also shot at train stations.
The promos of KBC (Kaun Banega Crorepati) were also filmed at different railway stations.
The Most Favorite Mumbai Station Among Film Directors
When selecting a site for a movie production, directors have their preferences. The Churchgate Station in Mumbai is the most frequently used train station for movie shootings.
It is regarded as one of Mumbai’s most attractive train stations, and because of its distinctive architecture, it is a favorite location for movies.
