Indian Prime Minister to be honoured by the Commenwealth of Dominica
The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is going to be honoured by the North American Island, Dominican Republic.

“The commonwealth of Dominica will bestow its highest national award, the Dominica Award of Honour, upon His excellency Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, in recognition of his contributions to Dominica during the Covid-19 pandemic and his dedication to strengthening the partnership between India and Dominica” statement of the Dominican Prime Minister
“The award also recognises India’s support for Domminica in healthcare, education and information teachnology under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, as well as his role in promoting climate resilience-building initiatives and sustainable development on a global level” continued the statement.
“Prime Minister Modi has been a true partner to Dominica, particularly during our time of need amid a global health crisis. It is an honour to present him with Dominica’s highest national accolade as a symbol of pur gratitude for his support and as a reflection of the strong ties between our countries”
The statement also quoted the 70,000 doses of Astra Zeneca which was supplied during the Covid-19 and the Indian PM Narendra Modi has been accoladed and bestowed gratitude for his humanitarian act and solidarity by the Prime Miniter of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will receive the Award of Honour from the Dominican President Sylvanie Burton at India-CARICOM Summit on November 19, 2024 in Georgetown, Guyana.
Dominica will award its highest National Honour, the Dominica Award of Honour, upon PM Narendra Modi at the India-Caricom Summit in Guyana.
