Indian Medical Student And Sportsperson Brutually Killed In UK
The Indian community in the UK has been left in shock by two distinct acts of brutal attacks on people of Indian origin.
The first event involved the horrible stabbing death in north London of Kontham Tejasvini, a 27-year-old student from India.
Hyderabad-born Tejasvini has been pursuing her Master’s degree in London for the last three years.
Last year, she briefly returned to India and was intending to return to the UK for her wedding.
Two suspects, one of whom is a Brazilian national, have been arrested by the Metropolitan police in London in relation to the murder. Another woman was injured in the attack.
In the second case, three individuals were killed in a separate stabbing event in Nottingham, including a student of Indian descent named Grace Kumar, age 19.
In a tragic incident, Grace, a skilled hockey player and cricketer, and her friend Barnaby Webber were fatally stabbed while walking back to their student halls after a night out.
Two victims were found dead on Ilkeston Road, prompting a police response to the scene. A 31-year-old man has been arrested by authorities on suspicion of murder. Investigations are currently underway to identify the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
