India Vs Australia 2nd Test: Day 1 of Pink Ball Match witnessed Australia’s Supremacy over India
The Pink Ball second test of India vs Australia commenced with the win over the toss by the Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma. With lots of hope and confidence from the first test’s victory the openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul entered the Adelaide Oval. The Indian crowd was shocked to witness the shocking golden duck at the very first ball of the World Class Seamer Mitchell Starc. He continued to break the brawny batting line up of India. Nitish Reddy’s 42, Rahul’s 37, and Gill’s 31 steadied the team score of India to 180 until the complete wicket ripped off by other fast pacers Pat Cummins and Scott Boland.
It was a complete disappointing 1st innings knock by the most anticipated batters like Kohli, Captain Rohit and Pant. Post tea session Australia began their innings with Nathan and Khawaja as openers. Bumrah’s swing took off one of the opener Usman when Australia was trailing 156 runs. Then, joined the classy batter Labuschagne, with Nathan still standing on the ground, with the scoreboard of Australia as 86/1.
