India, US, Saudi, UAE Discuss Ways To Strengthen Ties
The NSAs and officials of India, United States, Saudi Arabia, and UAE officials discussed ways to strengthen ties and enhance growth and stability in their regions.
Officials from India, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates held a meeting to strengthen relations and ties between the countries.
National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, US counterpart Jake Sullivan, UAE counterpart Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Saudi Arabia Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud attended the meeting.
The International Meeting
According to Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting was held in Saudi Arabia and attended by US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Michael Ratney, US National Security Council Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa Brett McGurk, Special Presidential Coordinator at the Department of State Amos Hochstein, and Senior National Security Advisor Ariana Berengaut.
Strengthening Ties & Relations
The meeting aimed to enhance growth and stability in the region by discussing means to strengthen relations and ties between the three countries. The four delegates agreed to maintain regular consultations.
Bilateral & Regional Progress
Sullivan held bilateral meetings with UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Tahnoon and NSA Ajit Doval to discuss bilateral and regional matters.
He reviewed significant progress in talks to further consolidate the 15-month long truce in Yemen and thanked the Crown Prince for Saudi Arabia’s support during the evacuation from Sudan.
Vision For Security & Prosperity of Middle East
National Security Advisor of India Ajit Doval met with White House’s readout of National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan’s meeting on regional integration revealed that Sullivan met with
Saudi Prime Minister and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and UAE National Security Advisor Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan on May 7 in Saudi Arabia to advance their shared vision of a more secure and prosperous Middle East region interconnected with India and the world.

Sullivan looks forward to further consulting with Doval on the margins of the Quad Summit later this month in Australia.
