India Gets One More AIIMS Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh As ‘Green Hospital’
PM Modi inaugurated AIIMS Bilaspur aka Green Hospital in Himachal Pradesh after major development projects like Atal Tunnel, Hydro-Engineering college & Medical Device Park.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in the Himachal Pradesh district of Bilaspur on Wednesday, promising to expand access to affordable healthcare in an environmentally sustainable manner.
Additionally, he stated that the hospital will operate sustainably and be renowned as a “Green Hospital.”
“Over the past eight years, we have fought to make sure that the most isolated regions of the nation receive the advantages of growth.
In addition to providing more people in Himachal with access to inexpensive healthcare, the AIIMS in Bilaspur will be recognized as the “Green AIIMS” and will be environmentally sustainable.
One of the three states selected for the Bulk Drugs Park, which would guarantee that people in the nation have access to affordable medications, is Himachal Pradesh.
The newest AIIMS will serve a “pivotal role in Jeevan Raksha” for the residents of the state, Prime Minister Modi claimed, much as Himachal Pradesh did in “Rashtra Raksha.”
“One of the four states selected for the Medical Device Park is Himachal Pradesh. This includes the foundation stone that was laid in Nalagarh, the prime Minister said.
The potential for medical tourism in Himachal Pradesh was also mentioned by PM Modi. People from all over the world will visit the state because of its picturesque valleys and landscapes, which also give off fresh air, and because of the state’s need for top-notch medical facilities.
According to PM Modi, the Union Government is also aiming to reduce individual drug costs and ensure that everyone has access to care without traveling great distances.
The provision of protection, security, respect, and health to mothers and sisters is a top priority for the double-engine government, he declared.
Modi also referred to Himachal Pradesh as “a land of potential” because it has a thriving tourism industry, fertile terrain for farming, and power production that aids in the growth of the entire nation.
He commended Jai Ram Thakur, the chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, for his effective leadership and the prompt adoption of plans and policies. The Himachal Pradesh people received praise from the prime minister for their role in the state’s growth.
“Your votes made it possible for the opening of AIIMS Bilaspur, the Atal Tunnel, the Hydro-Engineering College in Bandla, and the Medical Device Park in Nalagarh. When I bring development initiatives to the state, Jairam Thakur makes them successful, and that’s due to you alone, he remarked.
