India and Iran Make New Port Deal, US Warns of Possible Troubles
India and Iran have made a new deal about a port. The port is called Chabahar Port. It is in Iran. The deal says India will run the port for 10 years.
Why the Port is Good for India
The Chabahar Port helps India. It lets India send things to other countries like Afghanistan and countries in Central Asia. India does not have to go through Pakistan to get to those countries.
India has already spent money to make the port better for shipping. Under the new deal, an Indian company will run the main part of the port. India will spend more money to make the port facilities better. India will also give money to build better roads to connect to the port.

The US is Not Happy
The United States is not happy with the deal between India and Iran. The US has regulations that don’t allow doing commercial business with Iran. These guidelines are referred to as sanctions.
A US legit said all and sundry working with Iran may get in problem due to the sanctions. The legitimate said the US will hold following the sanctions towards Iran. He warned corporations to be cautious about making offers with Iran.
Finding the Right Balance
India wants to work with Iran and use the port. But India also wants to follow the US rules about sanctions. India will need to find a good way to work with Iran without breaking the US rules.
