I have ‘never met’ Prabhas, says Mission Impossible 7 director refuting the claims of him being casted in the film

Baahubali star has become talk of the town with his blockbuster release in 2017. His fans wanted to see him in every next thriller, action movie that had big names attached to it and till now, four years later, people are still expecting Prabhas in big Hollywood production. 

With the announcement of Mission Impossible series returning with its seven installment, the fans of the south Indian actor were quick to make assumptions supporting the star’s role in the movie. The series stars Hollywood’s A-lister, Tom Cruise. With the slightest of rumour, fans quickly got excited to watch the duo together on screen but the director has now come out to clear the air. 

Christopher Mcquarrie has set the record straight with a tweet claiming that even though Prabhas is a very talented actor, the two have never met. While he’s a very talented man, we’ve never met. Welcome to the internet,” said the director after many of the top publications claimed that the actor has been roped in for the seventh installment of the action movie. 

While it is unknown as to what led to these speculation, one might dig into the fan club tweets that suggest that the actor had met the Hollywood director in Italy where he was shooting for his next project Radhe Shyam. 

As for the Tom Cruise fans, who are eagerly waiting for Cruise to reprise his role as Ethan Hunt, the movie will hit the screens in 2022. It was announced to be released in 2021 in February but due to the pandemic, the shooting of the movie got delayed, which resulted in production deciding to postpone the release.

Ving Rhames, Simong Pegg, Indira Varma, Rob Delaney, Mark Gatiss, Cary Elwes and Charles Parnell will be starring in the movie alongside Cruise. 

Prabhas however was last seen in Saaho in 2019 alongside Shraddha Kapoor. He has many treats for his fans in the coming years with movies such as ‘Radhe Shyam’ which also stars Pooja Hegde and he also has ‘Adipurush’. The latter has a star studded cast like Saif Ali Khan who will be playing the character of Raavan, Kriti Sanon and Sunny SIng are also playing crucial roles in the movie.
