Har Ghar Tiranga: National Flag To Be Hoisted On 20 Crore Houses

On Independence Day, the Indian government will commence its ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and the tricolor flag will be hoisted on 20 crore houses.

On Independence Day next month, the tricolor will be flown for three days at more than 20 crore houses nationwide as part of the national government’s “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. 

With the Chief Ministers of the states, the Lieutenant Governors, and the officials of the Union Territories, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed the campaign preparations for the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” on Sunday.

The national flag will be raised above the residences as part of the event from August 13 to August 15, and both governmental and private institutions will take part, according to the announcement. 

According to Amit Shah, the national flag should be displayed on the homepages of all state governments’ websites as of July 22, a representative stated on the condition of anonymity.

People should be urged to showcase the tianga on their Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media platforms at the same time. 

Shah advised people to take a selfie with the flag and post it on the Ministry of Culture’s website.

The “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,” according to PTI, is a cause for celebration for every citizen. 

In addition to strengthening its democratic foundation throughout the past 75 years of independence, India has also become more significant in terms of growth on a worldwide scale.

He declared that the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign will elevate the spirit of patriotism to its maximum degree and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has chosen to celebrate “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” in a novel manner.

According to the statement, “Prabhat Pheri” was a crucial component of the nation’s independence movement, therefore political parties, governmental agencies, non-governmental organizations, and cooperatives were urged to organize “Prabhat Pheri” in their regions. 

Three different types of national flag will be produced and distributed by the central government through post offices. The colors will also be available for purchase online.
