Flower Markets Blossom In The Midst Of The Ugadi Rush

As the festival of Ugadi approaches, flower markets in several areas are abuzz with activity. People visited markets on Ugadi eve to buy festival essentials.

The Hindu lunar year is marked by the festival of Ugadi, which is celebrated by distributing bevu bella, a mix of neem and jaggery, among families and friends as a symbol of the importance of remaining balanced in the face of life’s ups and downs. 

Streets came alive with the lively colors and scents of mangoes and neem leaves in several locations. The festival is mainly celebrated in the southern half of the country, in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Goa.

The eve of Ugadi saw thousands of people thronging the city’s markets, making last-minute purchases on Tuesday. 

The markets were bustling with activity as people picked up flowers and other decorations to decorate their homes for the festival. 

Colorful decorations were made on the floor and mango leaf decorations were made around the house.

Ugadi is a time for new beginnings and is celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm. The start of the year is celebrated to welcome all the amazing things that are about to come into our lives. 

The festival is a reminder to remain positive and hopeful in the face of life’s challenges.

People deck up in new clothes, take an oil massage and a bath, and then offer puja by visiting the temple. Pachadi, a quintessential dish, is savored during Ugadi. It is a combination of all kinds of flavors, reminding people to be open to experiencing all kinds of flavors in the coming year.

Ugadi is an important festival for many people in the southern half of the country, and it is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm. The festival brings people together and reminds them of the importance of remaining balanced in the face of life’s challenges.
