Rapper and singer Badshah is talking openly about his conflict with Honey Singh from their time in Mafia Mundeer. In a recent interview, Badshah referred to Honey Singh as “self-centered” and claimed that the singer frequently ignored his calls. He added that those were ‘challenging’ years for him and that they ultimately changed him.
Regarding Mafia Mundeer
Gabru, Haye Mera Dil, Glassi, Get Up Jawani, Siftaan, and a lot of other songs by Mafia Mundeer are among the group’s most popular works.
The last time the band performed was in 2012. Raftaar, Ikka, and Lil’ Golu made up Mafia Mundeer in addition to Honey Singh and Badshah.
Badshah and Honey Singh are at odds
Currently, Badshah has spoken out about his feud with Honey Singh in an interview with Raj Shamani, stating that “Mafia Mundeer was a thought, and like-minded people got together. Initially, it was just Honey and I. There was a rift between Honey and I in 2009. I once worked and was extremely terrified. Additionally, Honey was off my radar, and when I tried to call him, he ignored me. However, we had never met before joining Mafia Mundeer. Perhaps things would have turned out differently if we had met.
Badshah Slams Honey Singh was ‘self-centered’
The singer Badshah continued in the podcast by mentioning Honey Singh and saying, We made songs, but they weren’t released. Honey’s only focus was on his career.
Since 2006, I’ve been involved with Mafia Mundeer, and by 2009, my parents were very concerned about me. Get Up Jawani, my first song with Honey was released in 2011… Please take into account us as well; we are writing a lot of songs. We came here after leaving everything behind. Honey, you shouldn’t be so egotistical. You call us brothers on the one hand, but you ignore our struggles on the other. What about those contracts that he made us sign on blank pieces of paper? It was a challenging time.
