Election Results 2024 Updates: PM Modi Thanks Maharashtra For Historic Mandate, INDIA Bloc Leads In Jharkhand
The 2024 Assembly Election results are almost final. Clear trends have emerged in both Maharashtra and Jharkhand.
Maharashtra Election Result:
The BJP-led Mahayuti alliance is set to retain power in Maharashtra, leading in at least 230 out of 288 seats. The BJP alone is leading in more than 130 seats. The halfway mark is 145. The opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), including Shiv Sena (Uddhav), Congress, and NCP, is leading in only 53 seats.
Jharkhand Election Result:
In Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s JMM-led alliance is on track to win a second consecutive term leading in at least 57 out of 81 seats. The majority mark here is 41. Despite a strong campaign, the BJP-led NDA is leading in only 23 seats.

PM Modi showed their gratitude towards the people of Jharkhand and also congratulated CM Hemant Sorean for the performance in Jharkhand.
Votes for 15 bypolls across Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Kerala, West Bengal, and Uttarakhand are also being counted.
