ED Raids Aap Party’s Satyendra Jain, Found ₹2.82 Crore Black Money

Satyendar Jain, the Delhi Health Minister, is having further difficulties. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) searched his and his allies’ homes on Monday. During this time, the ED has collected 2.82 crore in undeclared cash and 1.80 kg of gold.

The ED stated on Tuesday that the operation was taken in accordance with the PMLA. The conflict between the Delhi administration and the biggest opposition BJP has intensified as a result of this seizure.

Satyendra Jain’s Exposed Assets

On the basis of a FIR lodged by the CBI, the ED initiated a criminal case against Jain. According to the FIR, Satyendar Jain couldn’t explain the source of cash received by the four firms in which he is a stakeholder.

Jain has been accused of launching or purchasing a slew of phony businesses in Delhi. He also used 54 fictitious firms run by 3 hawala operators in Kolkata to launder Rs 16.39 crore in illegal money.

Jain owned a huge number of shares in the Prayas, Indo, and Akinchan firms. All of Jain’s shares were reportedly transferred to his wife once he became a minister in the Kejriwal administration in 2015.

These firms were utilized to send cash to companies in Kolkata and then return the money to Jain lawfully under the guise of purchasing shares.

From 2010 to 2014, Jain allegedly used these to launder Rs 16.39 crore in illegal money.

In a series of tweets, BJP spokesman Shahzad Poonawalla criticized Satyendra Jain as well as Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Satyendra Jain’s sincerity, he claimed, is demonstrated by the seizure of Rs 2.82 crore in cash plus 133 gold coins.
