Ceremonial Guard, Music and More: Dubai Crown Prince Gets Royal Welcome in India

India was ready to host a new guest from Gulf today, efforts was clearly visible at the airport where Indian authority had warmly welcomed His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum who is Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of UAE. He began his first official visit to India on Tuesday.
The Crown Prince was landed at the Palam Airport with a ceremonial guard of honour. This is a gesture that highlights the importance of his visit. Union Minister of State for Tourism & Petroleum and Natural Gas, Suresh Gopi, was present to receive the distinguished guest. A musical performance was also held in his honour, reflecting the cultural significance of the occasion.
External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar received the Crown Prince in New Delhi and expressed his delight on social media, saying, “Delighted to welcome Crown Prince of Dubai and DPM & Minister of Defence of UAE HH @HamdanMohammed at the start of his first official visit to India. Value his positive sentiments for our wide-ranging cooperation and vibrant ties.”
The Crown Prince is visiting India at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His two-day trip includes high-level meetings with Indian leaders. During the visit, Sheikh Hamdan will take part in a business roundtable in Mumbai, aiming to strengthen India-UAE economic and commercial ties.
