BTS, Coldplay Drop New Single–My Universe

London. Record-breaking boy band BTS has collaborated with veterans of the field Coldplay for their new project and on Friday dropped their much anticipated single–My Universe. To the surprise and delight of many, this is a song that celebrates love.

The attractive tune is filled with emotional lyrics written both in English as well as Korean. The video that has been released on Youtube Features the lyrics written by the members of both bands.  BTS members sing their parts in Korean while Coldplay lead by Chris Martin sings the chorus.

The song conveys a deeper meaning to love. It talks about keeping love before anything and focuses on the difficulties two people have to face because of the entirely different world they come from.

The lyrics include the hope and desire to keep one’s feeling first as it says, “I just want to put you first,” towards the conclusion. Ahead of the release of the new single, the record label of the British band, Parlophone Records, also asked fans to mark their calendars on Wednesday.

Along with the single, they are also planning on releasing a documentary called ‘Inside my Universe.’ There will also be a music video for the released song, as stated by the officials, but it will be released at a later date.

The first time Martin opened up about the collaboration with BTS was on the Kelly Clarkson Show where he said that the two bands defy any boundaries between anything and anyone and thus the song focuses on being told to not love a certain someone because of the differences but still choosing love every time.

Pictures of Coldplay and BTS meeting and jamming in New York earlier this week have also gone viral. They reportedly met each other as BTS went to the United Nations General Assembly as the special envoy of South Korea and took some time off for its own activities.

While talking about his experience with BTS, he said that they were considering singing with the Korean band because maybe they were not supposed to be together. He added that the collaboration became one of the most fun things ever.

The social media handle of BTS also shares a video of Chris Martin and the leader of the band, RM in a recording studio.
