Bollywood Unites to Celebrate Raj Kapoor’s 100 Years
Bollywood will be gathering on 13th December 2024 to celebrate 100 years of the legendary actor Raj Kapoor. All Bollywood stars will grace the function like kings and queens. Randhir Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt – the young generation of the Kapoor family will lead the celebrations and establish that the legacy of Raj Kapoor is protected Among them will be the legendary Rekha Jeetendra and today’s generation’s hottest directors and actors such as Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rajkumar Hirani, Karan Johar, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan and so on, making it the coming together of the best of the best.

We have R.K. Films, the Film Heritage Foundation, and NFDC-National Film Archive of India to present ‘Raj Kapoor 100’ a film festival across India. The Mumbai premiere is a small part of a much bigger event. The initiative will include showing ten Raj Kapoor’s most popular films in 40 cities and 135 cinemas including PVR-Inox and Cinepolis. They are available to the populace at large and are still priced cheaply at ₹100 – Kapoor is the man of the people as much as he is the man of cinema.
