Asia Cup 2025 begins in the UAE on September 9, the group stage Week 1 will be from Sept 9–15.

- Sep 10 (Wed): India vs UAE – Dubai at International Stadium, Dubai – 8:00 PM IST.
- Sep 11 (Thu): Bangladesh vs Hong Kong at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi – 8:00 PM IST.
- Sep 12 (Fri): Pakistan vs Oman at Dubai Intl. Cricket Stadium – 8:00 PM IST.

- Sep 14 (Sun): India vs Pakistan at Dubai Intl. Cricket Stadium at 8:00 PM IST (the big game!).

The official India 15-player squad was published by ESPNcricinfo and ICC where Suryakumar Yadav was named as captain The list is the confirmed squad list not the match XI. The final playing XI is announced about an hour before each and every game.media outlets and experts are suggesting likely XIs is based on practice sessions and selection talk. For example, for India vs UAE (Sep 10) there are many outlets list a probable XI, Jitesh Sharma as keeper where pace attack led by Jasprit Bumrah; for India vs Pakistan (Sep 14) several previews listing a strong batting core where we are seeing Gill, Abhishek Sharma/Tilak Varma and leaders like Bumrah and Arshdeep in attack.
