Are you all set for Marvel’s new take on an alternate reality? ‘What If’ is the one you are looking for.

Marvel became a huge contributing factor in keeping people entertained throughout the pandemic with its one after another attempt of coming up visual thrillers of the comic books with the recent edition being ‘What If’, which is an alternate reality-based web series. 

This series will provide you with an interesting take on different characters by reimagining their storyline and certain characteristics of the famous Marvel heroes.  Questions such as what if Peggy Carter had taken the Super Soldier Serum and she would have become Captain America unlike what was shown in the movie with Steve Rogers?  

The trailer also showed possibilities of T’Challa becoming a star lord instead of Peter Quill. The animated series has been created by A.C. Bradley and as per the producers, this series is the TV equivalent of the eponymous comic-book anthology series based out of the 1970s. 

The narrator of the series is Jeffrey Wright, who is one of the Watchers in the Marvel Cinematic universe. The best part about the whole concept is that it is not a shallow touch on topics or on characters; rather it goes deeper into visualizing the whole scenario if certain scenes had someone else in the lead.

Marvel fans, especially those who are well known for the characters and the story in the comic books will surely enjoy this series. Unlike most Marvel movies, this series does not bring new twists rather stocks to the original story as described in the comics, which is what essentially makes it a delight for them. 

The first episode was extremely exciting with Peggy Carter being injected with the Super Soldier Serum instead of Rogers and she became Captain Carters in the limited series. She breaks the typical casting of men in the role of Captain America and Howard Stark helps her get Vibranium on her to make things even better. 

The story revolved around her and how Allied governments were disappointed after they came to know about it as they hoped a male savior would be three to fight the Nazis. Now to know further if Steve Rogers managed to get a higher position or if he has a role at all, it would be best to leave it for a surprise twist for whenever you watch the series.
