Apple Opens Green Office In Bengaluru, India, Powered By Renewable Energy

The global tech company Apple has opened a striking new office in Bengaluru, India. This office isn’t just another building; it’s a completely green building. Located in the heart of the city at Minsk Square, the office stands tall with 15 floors and is designed to house around 1200 employees.

The entire building runs on 100 percent renewable energy. This means that everything in the office, from lights to computers, is powered by energy sources that are good for the planet, like solar or wind power.

Apple has been focusing on using green energy across its operations in India since 2018, and this new office is a continuation of that effort.

The interior of the office is something to admire. It has been built using materials sourced locally, including stone, wood, and fabric. This not only supports local industries but also adds a unique Indian touch to the office’s look.

Inside, you’ll find areas dedicated to different activities – from labs for technical work to spaces for teams to collaborate. There’s even a cozy spot called Caffe Macs, where employees can take coffee breaks and relax.

The office isn’t just about work. It’s designed to inspire creativity and innovation among the employees. With lots of greenery and open spaces, it’s a vibrant and pleasant environment to work in.

The use of wooden furniture and trees inside the building adds an environmental touch, aligning with Apple’s eco-friendly philosophy.

This new Bengaluru office marks an important milestone in the 25-year journey of Apple India. The Bengaluru teams at Apple are involved in various tasks, from software development to customer support.

Beyond the office walls, Apple’s presence in India extends to collaborations with Indian suppliers and environmental protection initiatives.
