‘Anupama’, ‘Khosla ka Ghosla’ actor Nitesh Pandey dies of massive cardiac arrest at 51

Actor Nitesh Pandey, who has been part of numerous prominent movies and television shows, passed away Tuesday at the age of 51. According to multiple media reports, he suffered a massive cardiac arrest while shooting at Igatpuri near Nashik.
He was found dead at a hotel in the town. The case is being investigated while a post-mortem report is awaited. Hotel staff and others close to the actor are currently being questioned.
Family Shocked Over Sudden Demise
Producer Siddharth Nagar, his brother-in-law, confirmed the news and told the Times of India Nitesh had no history of any heart ailment and that the complete family is shocked by his sudden death.
Nitesh’s wife Arpita Pandey is in a deep state of shock, while his father is on his way to Igatpuri for his son’s mortal remains, the producer added.
A Glimpse Of His Work
Nitesh has been a part of several prominent projects.
Apart from stealing hearts on the small screen, his charm on the silver screen was quite evident as well. His role in ‘Dabangg 2’, ‘Madaari’, ‘Khosla ka Ghosla’, ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’, and ‘Badhaai Do’ has got engraved in the hearts of millions.
He is popularly known for playing Shah Rukh Khan’s assistant in the 2007 hit ‘Om Shanti Om’.
Nitesh was last seen in ‘Anupamaa’, a popular Indian daily soap in which he played Gaurav Khanna aka Anuj Kapadia’s best friend Dheeraj Kumar. While he was seen playing a prominent character in the show, he had been missing from it for the last few days for being busy shooting for a different project.

Apart from ‘Anupamaa’, the actor has also been seen in several different daily soaps in key roles, including ‘Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka’, ‘Indiawaali Maa’, and ‘Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara’.
