An Emotional Send off by Team India to the Versatile All-Rounder Ravichandran Ashwin
It was quite an anguish moment to all the fans and the fellow players in the Indian team when the legendary all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin announced his retirement from all formats of International Cricket after the third test of India against Australia was declared as drawn. He added that he would continue to play in domestic games for a few years.
Ravinchandran Ashwin began his career as a right-arm off spin bowler of the Tamil Nadu team. His smart strategic spin bowling allured the BCCI and he roped into the playing XI of 2011 World Cup team. Ashwin continued to showcase the variations in his games as a bowler, batter and as an energetic fielder. He became a prominent inspiration to many players around the nation and particularly in Tamil Nadu.

He has won eleven Man of the Series awards, six centuries, and he is said to be one of the only three players who has scored 3000 runs in the international test cricket format.
