Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam 2023
The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, officially launched the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam 2023 on Saturday, July 29 officially from Delhi. The third anniversary of the National Education Policy, or NEP 2020, falls on the same day as the “Samagam.” In his speech at Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam, Prime Minister Modi stated that we place equal emphasis on traditional and modern forms of education.

When it comes to achieving the goal towards which the nation is moving forward, education plays a significant role. You stand for this, after all. The chance to be a part of Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam is significant for me as well.
NCERT is writing newsbooks in all 22 Indian languages for education in about 130 subjects. Education will now be provided in Indian languages, ranging from social science to engineering. The NEP has made it possible, and all languages will be respected appropriately, according to PM Modi.
Three years ago, when we announced the National Education Policy, we had a huge task ahead of us, but the dedication and commitment shown by all of you in putting the NEP into practice and accepting novel concepts and experiments While praising NEP 2020, PM Modi said, the courage shown is truly overwhelming and inspires new confidence.
“The biggest injustice is when young people are judged on the basis of their language rather than their talent. The real justice towards youth is going to start because of the education in the mother tongue by NEP 2020,” PM Modi added.
The goal of the two-day Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam, which is scheduled for July 29 and July 30, is to give various stakeholders in the education sector a platform. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 will be implemented by academics, sector experts, policymakers, industry representatives, teachers, and students from schools, higher education institutions, and skilling organizations who will come together to share their valuable insights, success stories, and best practises.
The event will be centered on strategizing and identifying approaches to advance NEP 2020’s implementation, ensuring its effective execution and impact on the educational landscape.
