But if this was the case then the same situation would have happened in the South film industry as well. But the southern movies are doing so well. South Indian film industries are earning name, fame & money not just in India but all over the world.

So why would they want to see the same story again? However, every film industry makes some remakes, but Bollywood has crossed the limit. Every second or third film is either a remake or a biopic. It seems that there is no writer left in Bollywood.

Bollywood doesn’t just steal stories, but they also copy movie posters, songs, background music, action scenes and even dialogues of other films. But the public is tired & bored of such things.

Bollywood has been community-biased for several years. Bollywood used to apply tactics similar to political leaders & parties.

In addition to that there are many Bollywood celebrities who always try to defame India, and are involved in anti-nationalism activities.

They criticize the country in every possible way. They get involved with the enemy countries. Some of them used to join the camp of the militants.

The common man neither stops them nor punishes them. But the country is completely aware of their anti-nationalist activities.

That’s why Indian people have started hating those so-called celebrities. They have started boycotting such celebrities. They don’t want to watch their film at any cost.

5. OTT Platforms

There is absolutely no denying that many people are now preferring to watch movies online instead of going to the theaters. 

Watching films online on OTT platforms has many advantages such as it costs less, it can be watched from anywhere, it can be paused anytime.

Thus people like to go to the theater only when there is a high-level or big-scale film such as – Bahubali, RRR, Doctor Strange etc.

6. End of Blind Fandom

There was a time when Indian film fans used to treat filmy stars like their God. People used to respect & enjoy whatever their star does.But now the Blind fandom is almost over.

Plus, some Bollywood celebrities are very arrogant and haughty. They treat the junior actors and other film staff very rudely.

They feel no guilt by criticizing the country or the people. They used to think that they could do anything and say anything to anyone. But now the public has started boycotting such people.

Earlier there were neither so many review sites nor social media platforms. That’s why people couldn’t get informed about the illogical or rubbish films.

Thus Bollywood films could easily make money through their advance ticket bookings. 

But now the reviews can be easily shared through the review sites & social media platforms within a few minutes. So now Bollywood can’t invite the public by fooling them.
