Samantha Ruth Prabhu shares her top 5 crazy experiences while shooting for the film ‘Shaakuntalam’ on her social media, including flower tattoos to bunny bites.
Indian prominent actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set for the release of her upcoming movie ‘Shaakuntalam’ co-starring actor Dev Mohan.
The actress recently shared a video on her Instagram revealing five crazy experiences that happened to her on the sets of the film.
Samantha revealed that she has a flower allergy but had to wear flower ornaments on her arms and neck for the shoot.
She shot all day without complaints but when she took off the flowers in the evening, the imprint of the flowers was all over her arm, like a tattoo that lasted for six months. She had to put makeup on top of it for six months, and then it finally went away.
Samantha revealed that she dubbed for the movie in three languages and found it tough. She said she was saying the dialogues in her sleep and hoped she had done a good enough job.
Thirdly, Samantha hilariously revealed that she got bitten by a rabbit on the sets of ‘Shaakuntalam’. She humorously said that rabbits are apparently not so cute.
Samantha talked about the 30 kg lehenga that she had to wear for a song in the movie. The lehenga was designed by Neeta Lulla and was meant to be lighter for the dance.
However, the lehenga ended up being 30 kg heavy, which made it difficult for Samantha to stay in the frame while dancing. The lehenga would push her out of the frame whenever she spun, and they had to do 10 to 15 takes for that sequence.

The ‘Shaakuntalam’ movie is based on Kalidasa’s Sanskrit play, ‘Abhijnana Shakuntalam,’ and revolves around the story of Shakuntala.
It also marks the acting debut of Allu Arjun’s daughter Arha. Samantha is promoting the movie to reach a pan-Indian audience, and her fans are eagerly waiting for the movie to release on April 14th.
