Yashas Surya Starrer Wrestling Drama ‘Garadi’ Hits 250 Theaters

The upcoming movie ‘Garadi’ is directed by the renowned Yograj Bhatt. It’s scheduled to release on November 10 and you can catch it in the cinemas soon. The film’s producer, B.C. Patil, has shared some exciting details at a press conference in Davangere.

‘Garadi’ will be released across 250 theaters in the state, making it quite accessible for movie enthusiasts. The film features Yashas Surya in the lead role, and the talented Sonali is the heroine. 

Adding to the star power, Rashmika Naidu has an important role, and the celebrated Darshan Thugudeepa plays a pivotal character.

The film is made with a budget of ₹12 Crore, and it’s packed with various themes like love, thrill, and wrestling. The story is interestingly woven around the concept of Eklavya and Dronacharya but with a twist.

In the film, B.C. Patil’s character suggests that one should not learn wrestling, which adds a layer of intrigue to the storyline.

The music of ‘Garadi’ is another highlight, with six songs composed by V. Harikrishna. These songs have already been released and are receiving a positive response. The film was shot in picturesque locations around Badami and Bangalore, adding a visual treat for the viewers.

The producer, B.C. Patil has a personal connection with Davangere, where his film journey started 30 years ago with the movie ‘Nishkarsha’. 

He reminisces about his days as a sub-inspector and his wife’s hometown being Davangere, making this film’s release there even more special.

Director Yograj Bhatt shares his own fond memories of Davangere, reflecting on his experiences and friendships in the city. 

It took one and a half years to bring ‘Garadi’ to life, and the film promises to be a unique experience for the audience, capturing the essence of North Karnataka and featuring original Pailwans (wrestlers) in its cast.
