Yami Gautam Stars As Determined NIA Officer In Film ‘Article 370’

The upcoming movie “Article 370” features Yami Gautam as a determined NIA officer in Kashmir. Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and also starring Priyamani, the film is set to release on February 23. 

Akshay Kumar praised the film after watching its trailer. He expressed his admiration for the passion in the film and reaffirmed that Kashmir is an essential part of India.

Akshay Kumar shared his thoughts on social media in Hindi, saying, “Kashmir was, is, and will always be a part of India.” He also wished Yami Gautam good luck and expressed his patriotic sentiment with “Jai Hind!”

The trailer of “Article 370,” which came out recently, is 2 minutes and 40 seconds long. In it, Yami Gautam’s character refers to Kashmir as a ‘lost case’ and shows her frustration with the special status of the region, which complicates her job as an intelligence officer. 

The film “Article 370” depicts the rise of terrorism in Kashmir and the government’s commitment to remove Article 370. Yami’s character joins the NIA and leads a mission in the conflicted region. The dramatic background score by Shashwat Sachdev adds to the intense atmosphere.

The film also features a song titled “Dua,” sung by Jubin Nautiyal and composed by Shashwat. It’s a tribute to India’s heroes and features powerful lyrics by Kumaar. 

Yami Gautam shared that the song, along with its shooting in scenic Kashmir, deeply moved her and serves as a heartfelt homage to those who serve the nation selflessly.

“Article 370” boasts a notable cast including Priyamani, Arun Govil, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, and others. The story is written by Aditya Dhar and Monal Thaakar, with the screenplay and dialogues by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and Arjun Dhawan, and an additional screenplay by Aarsh Vora.

Amid the release of the film, ‘Article 370’ actress Yami Gautam Dhar and filmmaker Aditya Dhar are expecting a baby. Yami is currently five and a half months pregnant and is very happy about it. Yami and Aditya got married in June 2021 after dating for two years. They met while working on the movie Uri: The Surgical Strike in 2019.
