Xiaomi Launches AR Glasses With 50 MP Cameras & Wireless Charging

Xiaomi’s website ‘Youpin’ has started accepting pre-orders for the latest Mijia Glasses Camera. The AR Glasses are available at an initial price of CNY 2,499 (₹29,030).

Xiaomi, a manufacturer of smartphones, has introduced its new AR-based smart glasses in China.

The Chinese company unveiled new glasses with the moniker “Xiaomi Mijia Glasses Camera” that have a display component on one side and many camera sensors on the other.

The AR-based smart glasses, according to Xiaomi, are designed to integrate intelligent visuals and AR technologies.

The glasses are designed to let users apply their creative expertise, but they don’t appear like the smart glasses you wear every day. The Xiaomi smart glasses reportedly weigh 100 grams and have camera features.

These glasses are thought to have an 8-megapixel periscope telephoto lens on the left side and a 50-megapixel primary shooter. However, optical image stabilization is only available with the second camera (OIS).

Additionally, the Xiaomi smart glasses include a tiny OLED display with an astounding peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

It’s interesting to note that Xiaomi is also utilizing freeform optical technology, which has a pixel density of 3,281 PPI and a minimum brightness of 1,800 nits.

According to reports, the Xiaomi smart glasses have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series CPU, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.

Along with dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, the tablet will also have a 1,020mAh battery and 10W rapid charging, which takes roughly 30 minutes to charge from zero to eighty percent.

The Chinese producer of the Xiaomi smart glasses is now doing a crowdfunding campaign; it is unclear when the product will be made available for purchase by businesses.

Xiaomi launched its first pair of smart glasses with live translation and navigational features last year.
