World Hindi Conference To Become Hindi ‘Mahakumbh’ Soon: EAM

EAM S. Jaishankar attended the 12th World Hindi Conference in Fiji where he unveiled Sardar Patel’s statue. Fiji’s deputy PM said that India is one of the world leaders.

S Jaishankar, the minister of external affairs (EAM), expressed optimism on Friday that the World Hindi Conference would soon evolve into a Hindi “Mahakumbh.”

Speaking at the 12th International Hindi Conference’s concluding ceremony in Fiji, Jaishankar urged Hindi enthusiasts to collaborate in order to make Hindi a universal language.

At the three-day conference, which was organized by India in partnership with the Government of Fiji, thousands of Hindi scholars and authors from almost 30 nations took part.

Biman Prasad, the deputy prime minister of Fiji, hailed the meeting as momentous for the South Pacific island country and vowed that the administration of Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka was doing everything in its power to support Hindi.

According to Jaishankar, he gave Rabuka the assurance that India would take action to further deepen its cultural connections with Fiji.

More than 900 academics and Hindi enthusiasts from around the world held a fruitful conversation on several crucial topics of Hindi’s widespread promotion during the occasion.

According to Jaishankar’s tweet, “Such events are also promoting the spread of other Indian languages.”

“Hindi: From ancient traditions to artificial intelligence” was the conference’s main focus. There were ten more academic seminars on various sub-themes.

The government of Fiji issued a commemorative postal stamp during the opening ceremony.

The bust of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was unveiled by Foreign Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in India House in Suva, where he also spoke with a sizable group of people from the diaspora.

According to S. Jaishankar, he had the honor of revealing a statue of Sardar Patel at the India House in Suva, Fiji. All Indians continue to find inspiration in his dream of a stronger, more united country.

Speaking to the Indian community in Fiji, Jaishankar said that the community had reached its milestones and was now a huge value to both India, where they were born, and the rest of the world.

When Fiji’s Deputy Prime Minister Biman Prasad stated that India is one of the world leaders in aspects of economy and politics, chants of “Bharat Mata ki Jai” rang throughout the World Hindi Conference closing ceremony.

The deputy prime minister of Fiji praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar, saying that under their leadership, India is progressing in an effective direction.
