Why did Biden call Putin a “Crazy SOB”?

The US President – who is widely famous for his calmness and self-control – recently got out of control while speaking at a fundraiser in San Francisco. During the event, President Joe Biden expressed his concerns over the constant worry of impending nuclear conflict.

President Joe Biden called President Putin a Crazy SOB as he also criticised his predecessor Donald Trump for likening himself to recently deceased Russian Opposition leader Navalny. Alexie Navalny died last week in a Russian prison near the Arctic Circle.

“We don’t know exactly what happened, but there is no doubt that the death of Navalny was a consequence of something that Putin and his thugs did,” said Biden at the White House after Russia officially announced his death.

At the San Francisco fundraiser, Biden commented, “We have a crazy SOB like that guy Putin, and others, and we always have to worry about nuclear conflict.”

Biden Rebukes Trump Comparison to Putin’s Critic

Last week, the US president blamed Putin and “his thugs” for the death of opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

Biden was previously caught on a hot mic using the same term of abuse “Son of a bitch” in January 2022 for a Fox News White House reporter.

He also said he didn’t know “where the hell this comes from,” targeting Donald Trump’s comparison of himself to Russian opposition leader Navalny.

On a three-day swing through California to raise money for his 2024 re-election campaign, In San Francisco he said he is very astounded by recent comments made by his likely Republican challenger.

Trump compared the suspicious prison death of the Russian opposition leader to his current situation of legal troubles in the US he is facing. He was fined $350 Million after the New York Judicial system found him lying about his wealth for years.

Biden Promises to Defend Human Rights

Biden said that as President, he will keep calling out President Putin and other leaders who violate people’s freedoms. He said America gets stronger when it stands up for dissidents like Navalny.

He said he would not try to make friends with dictators and strongmen like Putin. This was a criticism of former President Trump’s foreign policy approach. Biden said he would not cosy up to Putin or other autocrats around the world like Trump did.
