The Supertech twin towers in Noida will be demolished using cutting-edge technology, massive quantities of explosives, and scientific procedures On August 28. The structures will be torn down on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. sharp after a 7-day delay.
Over 3,500 kg of explosives have been linked up to the buildings that are scheduled to be demolished this month, according to the officials in charge of the destruction of the contentious buildings.
These structures, which were many people’s ideal homes, are now known as the “towers of corruption.”
The Supreme Court made a decision about the Supertech Twin Towers in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, ordering its demolition on August 21 while providing the authorities a seven-day grace period. The demolition will now happen on Sunday, August 28.
The business Supertech was given a plot of land by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA), which approved the construction of 16 towers in total as well as a shopping center, under a number of conditions.
After the building was finished, the Supreme Court found that some of the conditions hadn’t been fulfilled and the towers had been built in violation of the law.

The sanction imposed by NOIDA for the construction of T-16 & T-17 on November 26, 2009, and March 2, 2012, respectively, is in violation of the minimum distance standards specified forth in the NBR 2006, NBR 2010, and NBC 2005, according to the court judgment.
The towers are being destroyed as a result of their “illegal construction”.
To ensure that there is little to no debris, Edifice Engineering, the company handling the demolition, bore holes inside the structures and wrapped the pillars.
Later, the corporation demolished the buildings’ interior and exterior structures to ensure that the process wouldn’t be hampered.
More than 3,500 kg of explosives were placed inside the twin towers over the course of 21 days. Once in use, the structure will fall in on itself, erupting in a massive cloud of smoke that can be seen for miles.
While individuals in the local area have been evacuated, the area around the Noida twin buildings is being secured to prevent any damage from the rubble and smoke cloud.
