The highest paid comedian in India is neither Kapil Sharma nor Johnny Lever, but Telugu actor-comedian Kanneganti Brahmanandam. He has an estimated net worth of over $50 million. 

Brahmanandam is considered one of the highest-paid comic actors in India and demands a fee ranging from ₹1 crore to ₹2 crore for his film appearances. He also charges ₹1 crore for brand endorsements. 

Brahmanandam owns luxury cars such as Audi R8, Audi Q7, and a black luxury Mercedes-Benz. He also owns valuable agricultural land worth crores and has a bungalow in the prestigious Jubilee Hills area of Hyderabad. 

At 67 years old, Brahmanandam holds the Guinness World Record for the most screen credits for a living actor, appearing in over 1000 films. 

He was awarded the Padma Shri for his contribution to art in 2029. Some of his popular films include Aha Naa Pellanta, Money, Anna, Anaganaga Oka Roju, Vinodam, Ready, Manmadhudu, Race Gurram, and Dookudu.

Kapil Sharma, known for his stand-up comedy, has assets worth around ₹300 crore. Johnny Lever, one of the most popular comedians, an actor from the 90s, has assets worth ₹225 crore. 

Paresh Rawal, a versatile actor and comedian, has a net worth of around ₹93 crores. Rajpal Yadav, known for his roles in films like Chup Chup Ke and Bhool Bhulaiyaa, has property worth ₹50 crore. 

Actor Brahmanandam recently hosted a grand wedding celebration for his son and daughter-in-law in Hyderabad. Many celebrities from the Telugu film industry and politicians attended the event.
