Tejashwi Yadav, the younger son of Rabri Yadav, and Lalu Prasad Yadav, the head of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the opposition leader in Bihar, got married to longtime love Rachel Iris in a private ceremony in Delhi in December.
The intimate engagement and wedding, for which a high level of secrecy was upheld, were held at Tejashwi’s older sister Misa Bharti’s estate.

In a low-key ceremony, Tejashwi Yadav wed Rachel in accordance with Hindu customs.
Tejashwi’s older brother Tej Pratap Yadav tweeted, “Blessings to “Arjun” for starting a new inning of life,” along with photos from the wedding ceremony. May God grant this young couple eternal happiness throughout the world.
The entire Lalu family was present for the wedding of the family’s youngest member, as can be seen from the images Tej Pratap shared online.

Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party (SP), and other politicians were also present at the gala event.
In the meantime, Tejashwi’s wife Rachel Iris, who reportedly worked as an air hostess and is a Christian, will now be known as Rajeshwari Yadav, per a recent news report by India Today.
