At the 2022 Emmy Awards, Selena Gomez talked openly about having a wardrobe disaster. Many people questioned whether the lining beneath the My Mind & Me actress’s dazzling presence at the event in a sparkling white halter gown was intentional or not. Selena has confirmed that it was a glitch, in case anyone was interested.

The founder of Rare Beauty revealed the truth during a recent visit on The Kelly Clarkson Show, claiming that it was not a conscious choice in clothing. Selena revealed: “My dress was actually riding up the whole time. So a lot of people saw something they didn’t want to see.

The talk show presenter assured Selena that she was “radiant” and “lovely,” adding that she had not even noticed the gaffe.

The 30-year-old woman accessorised her white Celine gown with a huge diamond ring, matching metallic green manicure, diamond and emerald tassel earrings by Boucheron, and a stylish updo.

Together with her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short, Selena accepted the Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Talk Series at the event.

She also discussed her documentary, My Mind & Me, and how “scared” she is to be so transparent on the show. Selena has opened up about a number of things, including her 2016 “psychotic break,” her battle with bipolar disorder, and her experience with lupus.

Selena acknowledged that it wasn’t simple, to which Clarkson retorted, “I think it’s refreshing. It’s good since the world is so heavily filtered, in my opinion. Our generations are different, so I feel like, for people your age and younger, the online world is a different place where everyone filters everything, and that’s not how life works. That is not how life works.
