Millions of people use WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, worldwide. The instant messaging software upgrades and adds new features to improve the chat experience for users.
Numerous new features for both mobile and web users are apparently being developed by WhatsApp soon.

WhatsApp users will soon be able to message themselves, and web users will soon have access to a new image blur feature. Check out these 5 upcoming features for the online and mobile versions of WhatsApp.
Here are the 5 Upcoming WhatsApp Features which will be introduced by the chat platform before the end of this year.
WhatsApp has created two blur tools which will let users edit their images and give a blur effect to the images so as to censure sensitive information from the image in a neat way. Users will also get to choose the blur size.

With the new feature, users will be able to message themselves on WhatsApp. This chat will go by the title ‘Message Yourself’ and will be highlighted. Users will also get to see their own contact in the contact list.
WhatsApp will now let its desktop users manage auto-download settings for photos, videos & documents on both Windows & MacOS.
hatsApp will now let users set profile photos for individual contacts in group chats. That profile picture will show up when group members receive messages.
However, if a group member doesn’t have a profile picture or it isn’t available due to privacy settings, then the default profile icon will show up in the chat.

WhatsApp users will now be able to forward media such as images, GIFs, and documents with a caption.
WhatsApp is in the process of testing the device. The most recent version of WhatsApp beta for Android, version 2.22.23.15, is available from the Google Play Store. After it has been shown to be bug-free, the device will be made available to further users.
